Very good condition and guaranteed all original WWII German dress bayonet that is clearly manufacturer marked ANTON WINGEN SOLINGEN on the blade with the knights armor trademark. 8” carbine style blade has nice original bright metal finish and was never sharpened, still has original leather washer at the base. Remaining metal finish is original bright with a little wear to brown. Black plastic grips have a good tight fit and sharp crisp checkering, no cracks or chips. Bayonet still has original red felt insert in the lug slot. Fitted in correct original all steel scabbard that has original black metal finish with some wear to brown, no dents. Bayonet is also complete with correct original leather frog. Frog is soft and supple with a little surface cracking, stitching and rivets are nice and tight. Overall a nice honest WWII German bayonet rig that will make a great addition to your collection.
