This is a very nice airplane model of the Cruver US Army Air Corps Lockheed P-38 Fighter of WWII. This is a very nice casting of this high performance aircraft. Cast in a scale of 1/72. Wingspan measures 8 1/2" with a length of 6 1/8". Markings on the bottom of the fuselage read: P-38 July '42 and US in a box (showing nation of origin) along with the curver logo. This particular model was rennovated by Mark Eaton who recast the horizontal stabilizer then carefully refinished the model in its original low luster black finish... Its in absolute sound, beautiful shape. As I've said in earlier listings, Mark is willing to help any of you that have ID models needed 'help'.. his email address is: .
