This Great WWII Military Field Jacket in excellent condition ! They don't come in much better condition than this one! This coat came from an estate sale. It was found in the gentlemans footlocker along with an awesome military trench coat and a field medical pack belt pouch, intact with it's original unopened contents. I will be listing the other two items tonight also, so be sure to take a look at these other two items! The inside of the left pocket has some damage, and t is a tiny corner tear on the underside of the left arm. Aside from this, the jacket is in super condition. The fabric is strong and heavy and the inside lining is in very nice condition too. It has a drawstring on the inside to tighten around the waist. T is also 1 button missing on the front that can be easily replaced. Your not able to see it because the buttons are covered by a flap. In all, the jacket was well cared for and looks great! The tag sewn inside the left pocket reads: Jackets, Field M-1943, Stock No. 55-J-191-65, 38R, B.P. Shapiro & Co. Inc., P.O. No. 688, Dated July 29, 1943, Q. M. C. Tent Spec. P.Q.D. No., Dated July 29,1943, Phila Q.M. Depot. Some of the wording on the tag is a little hard to read, so a couple of the words might be a bit off.
