The center is aplace where international commerce can be done via the Sisters' on-line store(and the digital divide bridged for the poor women of the area). It is aplace where women can come together and work together on recycled fabrics tomake quilts, to garden and produce holistic teas and tinctures, and to exportall from the valley via access to the cyber-malls. It is the intent of the Sisters to createjobs, while raising social consciousness. The Sisters are an independentgroup of women working for the betterment of the people of the valley and arenot affiliated with any particular traditional religion
