**YES** **YES** **YES** *YESSONGS*** ROGER DEAN ARTWORK ****1975 POSTER** GREAT CONDITION!!! This is a great find for collectors of the legendary prog rock band YES and their equally revered cover artist ROGER DEAN It is an excellent piece of YES /ROGER DEAN memorabilia. YES formed in 1968 in London, England and had a massive following worldwide for four decades. Their mix of progressive rock, classic influence, virtuoso musicianship and a massively talented (if ever changing) line-up of members. Their music is often long pieces of intricate and evocative, music which takes the listener on a journey of often cosmic proportions. ROGER DEAN was responsible for almost all YES artwork from 1971's Fragile and was the designer of the bands iconic 'bubble' band logo. His futuristic fantasy landscapes perfectly suited the etherial sound found in the music of YES. Dean has also designed album covers for Osibisa, Gun, Budgie, Uriah Heap, Atomic rooster, steve Howe, Asia, Rick Wakeman and a lot of video game covers! He is currently working on a feature length animated movie called Floating Islands which ties together much of the imagery and mythology included in his art work over the past 30+ years. Roger Dean is most commonly recognized however, from his long association with Yes. In 1973 YES released their first live album YESSONGS . A TRIPLE album recorded on the Fragile tour in 1972, it was filling the gap while they recorded their epic (double) lp Tales Of Topographic Oceans which was released in December 1973. The other gap it filled was for their legion of fans who were constantly craving more of the bands live extraordinary performances.The cover art for this remarkable release was of course designed by Roger Dean. Their are several distinct images involved in the covers double gatefold sleeve. This is an amazing YES YESSONGS PATHWAYS ROGER DEAN POSTER is the painting incorporated in the front cover and revealed inside to be a piece called PATHWAYS .This poster dates from 1975 . It features a brilliant, oversized and striking version of this classic album cover . It was a commercially available poster at the time, but has been out of print for OVER THREE DECADES! This was only EVER AVAILABLE TO BUY for a short period a staggering THIRTY THREE YEARS AGO! These poster are incredibly hard to find in any condition. This RARE YES YESSONGS PATHWAYS ROGER DEAN POSTER is in GREAT CONDITION . It does have some minor storage wear (see second image) but nothing major and certainly nothing that in any way detracts from the extremely attractive and highly collectable nature of this extremely old and desirable piece of YES / ROGER DEAN memorabilia .
