ANTIQUE 14K SPG GOLD PINCE NEZ.. OPERA EYEGLASS SPECTACLES PLUS ORIGINAL CASE These Parts Test 14K(Solid)::: The round lens Holders Test 14K(Solid) Both Circular parts (That hold Lenses) all the way around.The Bridge(where 14K hallmark is) Test 14K(Solid). Not the clamps on each side of Bridge.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The Finger Holder,The Bridge Clamps on each side, and Nose Pieces are Not Gold. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Lenses appear very good considering age 1901-1919They are missing the chain where the Hand Holder is that extends from glasses.Marked 14k SPG under nose bridge piecePinch pieces have what looks like plastic pads,and one is missing.Comes with what we believe is the original case. The "SPG" mark after the 14K,stands for "Spring" which refers to the bridge which is spring loaded and provides the tension to keep the frames on the nose. This is why you will only see this mark on this particular style of Pince Nez glasses. ThanksCheck out my other items !
