Cutter, published by Clark, Austin and Smith, New York, 1855.132 pages followed by 8 pages of a Key to Anatomical Outlines, followed by ads for other titles by this publisher. The text includes 100 engravings. Bound in printed boards with a black cloth spine. The spine is quite worn and has sections of loss. The covers are still attached but a bit loose. The contents are clean and bright, little or no very light foxing throughout.An early school book by a woman on a topic seldom addressed by mid-19th century women. Uncommon. Satisfaction guaranteed.
