1947 RARE ROYAL COPENHAGEN CHRISTMAS PLATE "The Good Shepherd" This beautiful plate illustrates the story told in the Holy Bible of the lost sheep. This story is told in both Matthew and the Gospel of Luke. The color on this plate is a very rich, vibrant blue as shown in the picture. It was designed by Kai Lange and measures approximately 7" (l8 cm) in diameter. It is in pristine condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or imperfections. The back of the plate has the Royal Copenhagen wavy line trademark, indicating a factory first. The shadow on the right side is simply a result of my poor photography skill. Paypal is the preferred method of payment but will accept money order or cashier's check with shipment immediately following receipt of payment. Seller will insure plate for the amount of the winning bid and will provide tracking information.
