I have a brand new set of 1996 Callaway Big Bertha Irons still in the original packaging never opened. This is the iron that started it all for Callaway Golf Company. They are right handed and have the RCH 96 series graphite shafts in a firm flex. This set of irons is perfect for the collector who would like to own a piece of history that is in factory condition. Not a single iron in this complete 8 iron set (3-pw) has been opened out of its original plastic package. The size of the club head and the volume of the cavity allowed Callaway Golf to push weight farther out to the edges of the club head. This is what all club companies are still claiming today that they do with the newest club designs. They were 15 years ahead of the competition with this design. The sole was slightly modified and sculpted from the 1994 model to allow the club to pass through poor lies with less friction. This extreme perimeter-weighting and extra-wide and deep cavity back design means that the Big Bertha Iron is forgiving and friendly. Feel free to contact with any questions.
