French, dating from the first quarter of the last century - c. 1925. Hallmarked 0.950 standard silver mounted.A fine quality art deco, vertically wheel cut, rectangular clear glass perfume / cologne flask - the base star cut - see image 3.The bottle is silver mounted at the neck - the silver mount forming a threaded ferrule, to which the cover cap locates.With the silver outer cover removed, access is gained to the original cut glass stopper - see image 8.The heavy gauge screw mounting cover cap is finished with superb engine turned decoration - the top face incorporating a vacant square form cartouche - detailed above.The inside face of the cap and neck ferrule are both fully Hallmarked - Hallmark - Paris c. 1925, (head of Minerva grade 1), 0.950 standard, (higher grade than Sterling), maker - "E.
