The waist plaque features pierced scrolling floral designs over a filigree crescent. The five matching floral chains have spring clips at the ends. The ornate floral embossed tools include a thimble bucket with an early Dorcas thimble, a needle case , a scissors sheath with steel scissors, a disc style pin cushion and a tape measure . It has the English registration number 127211 registered by Horner in 1889. It is also marked 'Patent'. These thimbles had heavy sterling silver plates inside and out.
