Note: There is NO Yellowing in the books, however my Dining Room Light and my poor camera have caused some pictures to show " Yellow", where there isn't any. ***Note: If you PayPal me before 3:00 PM, EST, your purchase will be at the USPS by 5:00 PM, and go out that same day. We have all been taken in by sellers who slap a tracking sticker on the package, give it to you, and then take 3 days to deliver to the Post Office.***This auction is for a Hard Cover Tool and Machinery Catalog, Published by the well-known " Illinois Tool Works". It is catalog #8, although I have observed another seemingly identical Catalog, being called a Catalog #3, here on eBay currently. The pictures show the page with the catalog number, so you may decide. There is a "tab" marking the location of "Table of Cutting Speeds", which is a often used reference point, by a previous owner, and I've left it in place. In very good condition, especially for a 1940 edition. Many, many pictures with detailed instructions. This book came to me with a Illinois, Die Filing Machine, in the mid-1960's.A really nice, old-time, Book-like catalog. The Illinois Tool Works is still doing business today.
