Disneyland Goofy Oval Character Of The Month 2000 PinGoofy is one of 12 characters featured as part of a Character of the Month (COM) or Pin of the Month (POM) series at Disneyland during 2000This pin features a full-color picture mounted within what was supposed to be an ornate gold oval frame; however, when the pins arrived at Disney, they were made incorrectly and instead of gold, they had an antique finish. Disney never released these pins to the public as they were a mistake and should have had the ornate gold frame...not the antique one that was manufactured incorrectly, which is the one we have featured here.Goofy, facing right but looking at the camera, has his right hand behind his back and left arm leaning on a blue fence rail in a garden settingHe is dressed in his traditional orange turtleneck, yellow vest, blue bands and green hatThe pin measures 1 3/8" (34 mm) wide by 1 3/4" (45 mm) tallThe backstamp is, "© DISNEY, LIMITED EDITION, TAIWAN"
