Unusual original old enamel sign measures 24" x 18", double-sided. Reads: SHAVING SALOON PEARSON'S ANTISEPTIC USED HERE NON-POISONOUS in blue on white with a red cross. There is a border around it, emphasising the nice shaping to the lower corners. It's also printed Orme Evans & Co Ltd W'hampton (Wolverhampton?) in small lettering on the bottom. The reverse reads exactly the same, with condition similar, but the view shown is the better one as I've had it displayed on the kitchen wall. This is an old item and there is some inevitable damage to the enamel, as seen on the photo. I'll be happy to e-mail further photos on request or answer any questions. It's very heavy so buyer to collect from either NORMANTON in YORKSHIRE or MARLBOROUGH, WILTSHIRE. However, I'm happy to arrange postage at buyer's cost if preferred. I'd prefer cash on collection, but accept Paypal, cheque or PO. Please note that cheques will need to be cleared by the bank before despatch. Thanks for looking. Had several queries about posting this - for info, please note that the sign weighs approx 3.6kgs without packaging (it's a good, heavy old item!), so when estimating postage, allow for approx 4kgs in total.
