FANTASTIC FOUR # 121 THE SILVER SURFERSTAN LEEJOHN BUSCEMAJOE SINNOTT BRONZE AGE MARVEL COMIC BOOK This item is from what will be a very substantial run of Fantastic Four issues ranging from the Silver Age through to more recent issues. In many respects, alongside Spider-Man , probably the hardest core Marvel title to complete, these copies are all duplicates I've collected whilst trying to do just that. On an issue-by-issue basis there'll be a large nimber of early issues - even starting with Fantastic Four # 2 (sadly, no # 1!), a big block of later Silver Age issues - including # 48 which introduces Galactus & the Silver Surfer , a strong run eventually covering most issues in the Bronze Age ie up to about Fantastic Four # 200 . Later on there'll be a run of later issues through to the John Byrne period (many very neat, unread copies) and then issues from volumes 2 & 3 - Heroes Reborn etc. As noted below there are a few exceptionally high-grade CGC-graded Bronze Age copies and the run will end with a batch of Fantastic Four Annuals and Giant-Size Fantastic Four issues. Ideally this big run should enable a few fellow collectors to get near to completing their own sets. Grades will, of course, vary widely but this is a great opportunity to fill a substantial number of gaps. Key issues & highlights of this run will include - Fantastic Four # 2 a 10c issue introducing the Skrulls - the team in costume & HQ for the first time back in Fantastic Four # 3 - the re-introduction of the Sub-Mariner in Fantastic Four # 4 - first appearances of Alicia Masters & the Puppet Master in Fantastic Four # 8 - a bargain 'reading' copy of the 1st Thing vs Hulk battle from Fantastic Four # 12 - other early Stan Lee & Jack Kirby issues from the early 1960's - Fantastic Four # 30 which introduces the Diablo - Fantastic Four # 45 which features the 1st appearance of the Inhumans - a famous issue Fantastic Four # 48 which features the 1st appearance of the Silver Surfer - early Black Panther appearances including his first in # 52 - a small set of CGC-graded Bronze Age comic books in the 9.4/9.6 space including Mile High II copies & a NM+ GCG 9.6 Fantastic Four # 143 - a John Byrne run - several Fantastic Four Annuals & Giant-Size Fantastic Four issues All the pictures are of the actual comic books themselves and are not stock images. Further postage & packing rates will be combined with pleasure for multiple wins shipped in one go - just pick out the issues you need. As with all these books whilst with me they have been well-cared for; storage has been in the cool attic of a smoke & pet-free house. All comics have been housed vertically in comic boxes having first been bagged and boarded. Notes to follow.
