At this point I'm sure you are already aware that this is a pair of 8040A monitors with the matching 7060B subwoofer.I purchased them couple of years ago from a pastor who bought them for a project, but the project fell through. They had been set up, but were essentially unused.Since then I've used them for music listening. I don't turn them up loud, because there really is no point. "Normal" speakers distort when the volume is cranked, which is what a lot of people are after when they crank the volume...but if I crank these speakers, the unwavering clarity and lack of distortion just hurts my ears. So yeah, no point in cranking the volume.If you have questions about the quality of this equipment or the specs, please visit or search online for reviews. Before I bought them, I had a chance to listen to them at a Guitar Center, and these 8040's were significantly better than everything else they had.The 8040A monitor is a two way, active, near field monitor speaker.
