GENERAL ELECTRIC CLOCK The Traveler # 8F02 BAKELITE This GE 'The Traveler' was produced in the pre-WWII art deco design period for the top executives' desk. These clocks are one of the most prized among clock enthusiasts. Black bakelite body is in good shape with no cracks or chips (5"H x 5"W) Steel face plate is complete and clean Clock back face is 'moonglow' pale yellow World time adjustable face wheel is beautiful in moonglow with black and red lettering for the time zones Clock movement is smooth and working Metal back plate and stand are without rust or dents Original cord (I'd suggest replacing it/good cleaning) with wire casing worn model number 8F02 denotes (8) novelty clock for world time zone with separate adjustable face dial and (F) small desk clock with an type F Telechon rotor powered motor The time zones are as follows: Berlin-Rome/Samoa, Moscow/Hawaii, Baghdad/Alaska, Reunion Is/Pacific, Bombay/Mountain, Calcutta/Central, Singapore/Eastern, Shanghai/Buenos Aires, Tokyo/Rio de Janeiro, Sidney/Azores, New Zealand/Iceland, and Intl Date-Line/Paris-London.
