George Best is a football legend and thisrare program and newspaper clipping would make a perfect addition to any George Best, Tobermore United or football memorabilia collector. This auction consists of a genuine program from the Bass Irish Cup 1st Round match with Tobermore United versus Ballymena United, played at Fortwilliam Park in 1984; and a newspaper clipping about George Best and the game. These rare pieces of football memorabilia are from the short period of time that George played for Tobermore United, rather than his well-known position at Manchester United. Also included in this auction is a free copy of the ‘George Best A Celebration’ book signed by the authors; which tells the stories about George from many of his friends, family and fans point of view throughout his life on and off the pitch.
