An Enhanced Giclee starts as an extremely high quality print on either highest quality paper or in this case canvas. It is then remastered by the Artist who painted the original work on canvas. The actual Artist who painted the original goes over the work of art painting over the Giclee, in this case the entire Giclee which makes it an original work of art; thus making it an "Enhanced Giclee". Artist will do this at their discretion making changes either slight or more so throughout the Giclee, changing the colors and brush strokes and basically improving upon their original work. The process changes the work from a giclee or reproduction to an original because it then becomes a one of a kind as it is painted over by the original Artist who signs the work as you can see. This painting is of a floral garden with a cobblestone pathway and a pergola overhead. The use of light and color in this painting is unmatched, especially where the light is shining through the pergola and hitting the ground below. This artist has included some painstaking detail in this work that is incredible. What a talent!A CUSTOMER RECENTLY ASKED IF THIS WAS THE ACTUAL ORIGINAL PAINTING BY THE ARTIST ON CANVAS?The answer is yes and no. I have seen a couple listings where the seller called works by Henry Peeters "Originals" that were framed like this one. Though they are considered "Original" works because the original artist is the one who made changes to the work thus technically making them "Enhanced Giclee's" as I have described above. I have seen as you can see, a couple of Henry Peeters works listed as originals on canvas here on Ebay. I can not attest for those works as they are framed in the same high quality Museum like framing that this one is. You may find them to be "Enhanced Giclee's" like this one. I could list this one as original without adding that it is an "Enhanced Giclee" but I have been told by an art gallery owner, who viewed this work, that it is an "Enhanced Giclee" and basically should be listed that way so the buyer knows.I have not priced this work titled "Glenham Arbor" in the $5K to $7,000 dollar range as his originals are valued in todays market.Though an "Enhanced Giclee" becomes an original when the artist goes over it with his own changing brush strokes, enhancements and signature to his work which distinguish the work from any other, I choose to put my own value on the work at a tremendous savings to you. With great respect to the Artist I value this work around $2500. Henry Peeters is from china and he adapted the Henry Peeters when he moved to the states. His real name is Hing Biu.
