HOn30 BRASS CLIMAX locomotive. This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION. First bid could win. This auction is for a brass climax in HOn30.This loco is used, but not much. It appears to have only been test run. Only the motor gears have been lubricated. The new owner will need to lube the gearbox and Truck gear boxes.The model is very easy to disassemble for lubrication purposes. Only three screws are removed to take off the cab and all of the boiler assembly. This leaves you will a running mechanism to work on while protecting your detailed brass items.I do not have the original box, however, the loco will ship in a new REBOXX foam insert box.The Brass is tarnished.It was made by Sugiyama (aka Flying Zoo) in Japan.It is nice quality. It has a 5 pole open frame motor.There would be room under the Oil Tanker for a DCC decoder.The boiler is empty, so it is available to run a wire to the front light or to add additional weight.Only the rear truck has pickup as built by the factory, but you would only have to run one wire to the front truck to make it all wheel pickup.I have had to resolder the rear step.The whistle is extremely small and is off the model. I will let the buyer put it back on with some CCC.
