Please see all 10 picturesThis is a prop replica of FREDDY The Flute from the 1969 psychedelic Saturday Morning TV show. H.R PUFNSTUF by Sid and Marty Kroft. The series is probably the best and most surreal of all the KROFT offerings and still has a loyal following. This prop Freddy Flute was said to come out of a museum in Texas I think. I am pretty sure it is not an original prop but is an excellent reproduction. His face and materials are pretty much exact. He stands 12" tall as the original. The only notable difference I see and don't understand is that the base of the flute piece is a single band, instead of the split band seen typically. Other than that, he looks great. The note holes are drilled through and the texture of the materials used are perfect. He even has 3 slightly different colored gems for his eyes and what looks like a mole next to his nose. These more rainbow refracting gems give him more life and personality. It's very cool. Whoever built this Freddy, did a great job. He comes with the clear acrylic stand that really does present him museum quality. Comes from a smoke free environment.
