Half leather boards over paper, four raised spine bands. 'Walch's Philofophifches Lexicon appeared in four different editions in 1726, 1733, 1740 and 1775. It was the most important philosophical dictionary in the eighteenth century, at least in Germany. Its influence on German thought from the beginning of the Enlightenment until the beginning of the period known as 'German Idealism' cannot be overestimated.Wear to boards, edges and edges, rubbed, front board detached. Interior ffep and title pages have writing seems to be in period ink, circle stamp in German across from title page, all pages intact, very clean, tight.I make every attempt to describe each item as accurately as possible.Unless listed and described as NEW this is a vintage item and has been used,therefore is being sold AS IS, so please view all photos and ask any questions before bidding.I do combine shipping so please do not pay until all the items are finished just message me to let me know.
