Condition: This is a pre-owned JOHN LENNON BEATLES REUGE Swiss Musical Movement MUSIC BOX that is designed to play the song "Starting Over." The music movement cannot be wound to be tested. The winder appears to be stuck. A heavy duty 3.5" bracket hinge at mid-back ensures the box opens and closes with minimal effort. The lamination is cracked at two of the corners and it is starting to flake (see photos), but the interior is in great shape. This box appears to be damaged cosmetically and also in its musical movement. T are marks and fingerprints from handling and t are imperfections from the varnish finish. The feet raise the box about 0.5 inches which gives it a very solid appearance. The box appears to have an attractive inlayed trim on the lid and bottom. This fine music box would be good for parts or repair. Because of it is in non-working condition, it must be sold AS-IS. But just think, you could have this one for the price of a bid.
