Here is a Marx Roy Rodgers Truck and Trailer, with horse, probably c.1950's. As can be seen from photos it does need some TLC/cleaning. It is however, excellent for parts, could be restored or displayed as is. These Roy Rodgers items appeal not only to tin toy collectors but Roy Rodgers Memorabilia collectors as well. The lithograph to both truck and trailer is still colorful but shows play and storage wear. The truck cab shows a radiator/grill, front wheels and license plate that are not original, but still decent. The trailer side ramp functions but needs a little pressure to close and lock. The trailer rear ramp is held in place with a green rubber band. The cab is 6 1/2" L x 3" W x 3 1/4" H; and the trailer is 10 1/2" L x 3 1/2" W x 3 1/4" H. Although a horse is provided it is unknown to me if the original unit came with him or one like him; he is unmarked. This item is offered at low starting bid and No Reserve. It is difficult to find in any condition and would make a great addition to someone's collection. Please review the photos, check my feedback and ask questions prior to bidding.
