LOT 1745DSeller's Estimate: USD 300 - 400 Master Engravers 3-Pc Smithsonian Silver Proof Set. This intriguing set contains three coin designs that never made it to production. Struck under license from the Smithsonian Institute, which revived these designs in 1 oz. pure .999 silver and privately struck, you get the George T. Morgan proposed 1876 $100 Union, the James Longacre 1849 Pattern Double Eagle, and the Charles Barber 1906 Pattern Double Eagle. All 3 coins are encapsulated by NGC as Ultra Cameo Gem Proofs, were struck in 2013 and housed in a custom presentation case with info card. Payment:The buyer is responsible for paying the seller directly after winning the item. Details on accepted payment methods and where to send payment are provided in an invoice from the seller.
