I believe the concept of A.T.O.M. an acrostic for Alpha Teens On Machines (Atom) is a modern rendition of Hasbro’s popular Action Man Franchise which is even more loved in Great Britain and parts of Europe than in the U.S. While on a Mission Trip to Lisbon Portugal in 2007 I picked up most of these beauties. Some, such as the main male Heroes, Car and Van were available in the U.S. but most of the villains and female heroine Lioness were only available in Europe . I was a fan of the show at the time and was delighted to find these. You won’t find an ATOM Set like this anywhere on Ebay. To my knowledge these are super hard to track down these days. These have been played with and there are a few paint rubs but for the most part they are in great condition. All have nice tight joints and are complete with original weapons and accessories. Only missing pieces that I’m aware of are one of King’s helmets and the missiles for Shark’s jet propelled diver vehicle. I’m 99.9% sure everything else is there. The overall story is that Axel Manning (a younger version of Action Man) and his team of teenage adrenaline junkies battle the evil and diabolical plans of criminal Alexander Paine and his henchman. Axel manning uses the mystic martial art of Jolan to square off against Paine and his cronies. Action Figures are 5” inches in scale. You get:
