" Ever since I was a small child the beautyof Mother Earth has fascinated me. I gazed at the birds in the skies and wondered how everything looked from up above. I contemplated the rivers, waterfalls and forests in my back yard, the ocean and its infinite beauty, the mountains, the skies and the fields of flowers. I collected images of all sorts of landscapes and wondered what they would look like if I could capture them in the infinitude of time and space. The small child grew up and life took me to several different directions from where I had started. I was born in a small town in Rio Grande Do Norte, Brazil . My father was a successful landowner and having a son as a photographer was not the life he had envisioned for me. I went on and graduated in economics and carried on my family‘s business tradition, never forgetting my childhood dream. I never forgot about the way I saw the universe as a child. I did not know that one day my childhood dreams of capturing the world around me would come to life. I discovered photography when I visited a small history museum in a small village in Brazil . I was fascinated with the photographs hanging on those walls telling me about the people, the buildings, the roads, and the world of that little village that had been displayed right before my eyes in images frozen in time. I went back in time and imagined what would be like to have all of my images displayed like that. All of the life I’d seen kept in perfect conditions and shared with everyone that could not see it as I did. The small child grew up one more time. My reality as a photographer was not yet at my hands. After many walks of life my day has come! Five years ago was when I decided that it was time to be the “Photographer” and bring to the world the works of my imagination. Today I am launching my life long dream and so far, success has been my companion. I have hundreds of “captured images” of various landscapes throughout the world that inspires me in a humble yet impressive way.
