This is an original Model 1863 Springfield stock. The stock length measures 28 5/8" and was cut short from a rifle. Great for making any number of Springfield style carbines or rifles from 1855 to the 1873 trapdoors.There is a repaired crack at the lock mortise forward for 4 1/2" and a crack on the left side that still needs to be repaired.A sk questions before bidding.Look at all pictures, as they are a part of the description.Discounts for multiple purchases.
