Vintage Polk Audio S8- S Series-Working-Near Mint! Up for auction are these Vintage Polk Audio Model S8 monitor speakers in near mint condition. Could be either book shelf or floor standing speakers. Pecan woodgrain vinyl. About these speakers: I find nothing wrong with either speaker. The cabinets are free of cracks, scratches, chips or stains. The grills are snag free, stain free and no breaks or tears. All drivers work. Only problem is that one is missing the label on the back. Size: 11 1/2W x 8 1/2D x 25"T weight about 24 pounds. 1-1" dome tweeter 1-7 1/2" Driver(bass) They have rubber surrounds that should never rot. 1-7 1/2" Sub bass radiator(passive) Freq. Resp. 28hz-25khz 8 ohms 20-150 watts per channel They are excellent sounding with all types of music. Room filling, powerful. Note: The stands are not included. Because of their age and lack of history I can only offer them "as is", but they will not be DOA and you will be satisfied. If you are interested in bidding, PLEASE ask questions prior to bidding.
