6 Pack of Amazing Slide Lighters. These are the one and only original slide lighters. Now discontinued and hard to find! It took a bit of time and effort, but I was able to locate more sealed cases of these...all have been tested for functionality and are double-checked once again prior to shipping them out.Refillable, no flints to wear out or replace thanks to the electronic piezo ignition, plus the flame is fully adjustable. These are ESSENTIAL for lighting pipes but also perfect for fireworks, deep candles or any activity where you need to keep the lighter lit for an extended period of time or when you need a lighter that can be lit repeatedly in a short period of time, without burning your thumb, melting the lighter or worst case scenario, having it explode in your face or in your hand (bics are also great for safety and durability but lack the extra features of the Slide). I've kept these lit for around 60 seconds on many occasion and they not only hold up to the prolonged heat, but you don't burn your fingers and the lighter doesn't begin to melt or deform in spots. These haven't been manufactured in many years and are difficult to source. Please message me for postage cost for anything over that quantity.*** IMPORTANT INFO ***• If you want to keep your lighters functioning at their best, never refill more than 50-60% full. Anything over that creates excessive pressure that can weaken the seals and, best case scenario, simply cause the lighter to not function at its best. I've heard complaints about new lighters appearing low on butane. It has nothing to do with the company being stingy or cost savings. There is a reason for it. Don't overfill.• Always wait a minute after refilling before igniting the lighter! This allows the freezing cold butane (and frozen internals) time to warm back up.• Cold lighters don't function well (or at all if extremely cold). Even ones kept in an air conditioned area do not produce a proper flame. Cupping it in your hand or keeping it in your pocket keeps the butane warm and the lighter functioning at its best. Never blow in the top where the flame comes out to attempt to warm it up. The condensation from your breath will accumulate on the igniter and prevent it from lighting. Also, avoid leaving them in the car during cold weather.Extremely hot weather is also a bad idea. Keep it in your pocket or purse. • I can't stress this one enough: Only refill with a super high quality/near-zero impurity butane! The butane used to fill most lighters at the factory is garbage and full of an oily substance as well as other debris. This gunk clogs up the nozzle and eventually the lighter starts producing a smaller flame - and eventually no flame at all. I empty all of my new lighters that I personally use and refill them with either Lucienne, Xikar and Colibri brand butane. Worth every penny! You'll notice a major difference. Less failures to light, little to no flicker, extremely long life and a taller, stronger flame. Not to mention more efficient burning fuel, resulting in less refilling and less money wasted on both butane and replacing dead, clogged up lighters that wind up in the trash. Avoid brands like Ronson, Whip-It, Zippo, etc. Despite claiming near-zero impurities, they are not premium fuel.
