An incredible kit of vintage drafting tools, perfect for the collector or for spicing up the decorations in an architects or engineers office!E. O. Richter & Co made advanced drafting tools from as early as 1875. Emil Oscar Richter himself was a clock maker and inventor, and had the patents for several advanced compasses, pens and other tools for technical drawings.I have tried to find more specific information about this kit, but it has turned out to be hard. Exact age is hard to guess because of the lack of markings on tools and case. The tools are signed with the E.O.Richter & Co logo, which seems to indicate they are from the period where they were copyrighted and patented. Most likely they are from between 1920 and 1940, but I cannot guarantee that.The box is 16*9 inches (40*23,5 cm), and the clearcoat is in very good and clean condition. There are a few scratches on the lid, please examine the pictures.In researching this kit, I've seen a lot of Richter drafting tool kits, but none as large and extensive as this. The largest kit saw was the XVI.P, and this kit is even bigger, with more tools.The tools have a light patina and some spots and stains, so it is obvious that they have been used, and not just been for collecting and display. They will really shine with some light cleaning and restoration, but because patina is important to certain collectors, I have decided to not take this step, and leave that up to the next owner.Two tools have corroded, and are wrapped in paper in the pictures. The pencil lead containers still have extra lead in them. Two extra tools, pictured separately, are included.Please be aware that you are responsible for import tolls and taxes to your country.
