Wonderful to commemorate a relationship or a significant wedding, anniversary or engagement.This very special piece by artist , Sandra Magsamen, appears to be an early version as it is signed by her hand where she incised her signature on the back. She went on to license this design with a bride and groom to Silvestri but that line is mass produced. Those pieces are not artist signed or touched by Sandra Magsamen- this is an original by the artist .Gorgeous handmade square plate with rounded corners measures approx. 9-1/4" x 9-1/4" and ¼" thick, lower in center painted square of couple. Black lines etched into the plate outlining the design of the bride and groom. Bride and groom agains a green background with a lavender border withwhe polkadots. Glazed, this is dishwasher safe and can be used for display or serving piece, also would look great on a stand.Very heavy handmade piece, weighs just under 2-1/2 pounds unboxed.
