For sale is an old, very old, but fully functioning Sony Portable Reel to Reel tape recorder, together with everything that came with it, originally. (I think) I have been unable due to a lack of tape, to hear it working, but the reels both spin, in both directions, as required. Included is the following : - A cardboard box with a new bottle of Sony lubricating oil, a cleaning cloth and spare fuses. A couple of small reels of splicing tape. A spare capstan wheel and speed adjuster. An original Sony "Tape Talk" leaflet. A receipt for an overhaul, (February, 1973, and a shocking £2.00) and the original Instruction Manual as seen in the photograph.There is also an earphone and a microphone, with stand, and a couple of connection leads. (Phono plugs and others I don't understand)I am including a couple of empty reels for your enjoyment. This is a real collectors gem. The top case could do with a bit of a clean, but otherwise, it's super. Shipping will be at cost, by the buyer's chosen method. The price in the shipping section is only to satisfy Ebay's demands.
