Vintage 1954 Ideal Saucy Walker 17" POSIE Doll AO In Box Scroll down for larger views From the original owners estate, this doll is Posie. She was made in 1954 with a Saucy Walker hard plastic body & vinyl head. Marked: Ideal Doll VP-17 on her neck, Ideal Doll W 16 on her back. She is 17'' high, with a vinyl head & hard plastic walking body with bendable knees. Her face is wonderful, with high color & original paint. She has blue sleep eyes, intact lashes, lashes painted below her eyes, featd brows & ruby lips. Her rooted hair is honey-blonde, styled in lovely waves & curls. It is still in the original set with hair net intact. It has never been combed or tampered with. The hair still has that wonderful 'new doll' smell. The body is also nice, with original matte finish & still rosy hands & knees. Her knees bend nicely, allowing her to pose. Her walking mechanism sticks a little. She probably needs a little leg movement to work the kinks out, as she's never been used. Her crier also works fine. Posie wears her original outfit. This includes a blue organdy dress with white floral flocking, white picque accents, lace trim, and an attached white petticoat. Also a white onesie, rayon socks, & Ideal white vinyl shoes.
