You are bidding for the "WATES" vintage TEST METER shown in the picture. I have shown it rigged up to a 9 volt battery and resistor and you can see the current reading of just under 20 mA. the meter has 3 ranges, Current 0 - 30 mA (using the side terminals, as per my test rig). Voltage 0 - 150 volts (using the bottom spike and red probe). Voltage 0 - 6 volts (using the bottom spike and black probe). Resistance on volts ranges is 200 ohm (6v) and 5000 ohm (150v) i.e around 33 ohms per volt consistent with a 30mA basic movement. Tested on all 3 ranges it seems pretty accurate but the lead shows signs of wear. Quite a "vintage" item I think, maybe 1930-40 era ? A pretty little collectors item and probably quite rare now. Posting in UK is £3.25 for 1st Class recorded, proper box and packing as befits the item. Can post overseas but costs quite a bit so please check with me first. NB The battery,clip, and resistor as seen in my picture are not included - thats to demo' it works ! you are bidding for just the METER !!
