we have a windmill weight I picked up at an estate sale along with several other weights, which I also have up right now. I could not positively identify this weight, and my reference doesn't even have a "Crane" as a manufacturer. It's possible this could be a scale counterbalance I suppose. But at the estate sale, it was sold with the other windmill weights, and this guy was apparently fairly good at recognizing the nondescript small governors and such that your average antiquer does not. That said, on one side in raised letters is "CRANE" and underneath a part number, which is corroded, but I think reads 3157. One the opposite side is the tightening screw, and above it in raised letters "3 LBS." Dimensions are 3.5x2-3/8x1.75 inches. Note that this weight will ship via USPS flat rate box, and I will combine this with as many other small weights as I can for no extra shipping. If my shipping estimate is high and you pay with paypal, I'll refund the whole difference to you once I've shipped it (and tfore know exactly what it costs). If it went USPS (which very little will any more after the latest rate hike, I will know right away. But for Fedex, I don't know the exact cost till it is charged to my card. So it may take awhile. But, this is a guarantee; I try to treat other ebayers as I would like to be treated, and shipping profiteering is NOT cool. Fedex automatically insures all packages for $100. If you want a package insured beyond that, you must tell me, and it will cost a bit extra. NOTE: I reserve the right to CANCEL your bid if you have 0 feedback . This is unfortunately necessary due to scammers who create a new id for a day, bid to win, and then try to scam me, and have no intent of paying.
