We have for auction today a lovely wooden jewelry box. It is a chest with brass corners and brass decoration on the edges. The center of the top is inlaid with a piece of carved jade that is anchored by brass holders. The box measures 7 x 4 x 3 inches. It has a double hasp lock on the front of it and brass hinges on the back. One of the hinges is loose. Inside is lined with bright red brocade fabric. T is a section for rings, and a larger section.
