Excellent condition, US WWII Army Air Corps officer's khaki wool service shirt in a rare, large size of 16" neck and approximate 35" sleeve. This shirt does have a few moth holes in the front and back right armpit area and a few holes about 3 inches to the left of the lowest button - would likely not show once tucked into pants. The felt back 8th Air Force patch and the name of the Lt. Colonel who owned the shirt add significant historical interest - perhaps belonged to a combat pilot? Shirt still displays and or wears nicely. Measures 23.5" chest, armpit to armpit, 22" at the waist. The sleeves measure 24.75" from top of shoulder to end of cuff. The shoulders measure 18.5" from rear shoulder to shoulder seam; 16" measured neck size. Rare large size, with a historically significance Free insurance and delivery confirmation included with delivery costs
