1616 3 LEATHER BOUND VOLUMES OF PLUTARCH Plutarch. Les Oeuvres Morales. Paris: M. Guillemot, & S. Thiboust, 1616. 2 vols in 3. gilt -paneled, tan calf, gilt-ruled spines, morocco spine labels, marbled edges & endpapers; joints & extremities rubbed, a few spine ends rubbed away. Some internal damp staining & scattered light foxing. All leaves present. Size 4 3/4 by 6 7/8" Plutarch (c. AD 46 – AD 120) was a Greek biographer and essayist , known primarily for his Parallel Lives and Moralia .He is classified as a Middle Platonist .
