This is an Original issue of "THE EDINBURGH EVENING COURANT", published in Edinburgh, Scotland & dated "Saturday, January 27. 1780". 4 pages. Size: approx. 11" by 17". Disbound from volume. Nice Condition, Well-worn w/some light, generalized "rub-wear" (mainly on the front page, at top); otherwise, o.k. Neatly folded at middle. ....This Edinburgh advertising paper has various news reports in addition to all its plethora of ads. Nice Large Masthead at top of front page. This particular issue has a Partial hand-stamped RED Tax stamp at the lower, right-hand corner of front page + a number of REALLY Nice illustrated ship ads! Low beginning bid! A really Great late 18th century periodical, today 233 years old! Buyer pays $4.00 S&H, extra for postage outside the U.S. ***Please see scans. This paper is far too large to fit my scanner, but it is Complete w/Nice wide margins and Not abbreviated as the pictures might otherwise indicate.
