This is an Original issue of "THE Edinburgh Evening Courant", published in Edinburgh, Scotland & dated "Saturday, January 31, 1784". 4 pages. Size: approx. 11 3/4" by 17 1/2". Disbound from volume. Nice Condition, w/some light "rub-wear"; otherwise, o.k. Neatly folded at middle. ....This Edinburgh advertising paper has various news reports--for instance, a lengthy page 2 report from the "House of Commons"--in addition to all its plethora of ads. Nice Engraved Masthead at top of front page. This particular issue has a Really NICE hand-stamped RED Tax stamp at the lower, right-hand corner of the front page + some GREAT illustrated ship ads inside. A really Great 18th century periodical, today 230 years old! Buyer pays $4.00 S&H, extra for postage outside the U.S. ***Please see scan.
