1834-Do RM 8 Reales Contemporary Counterfeit A very nice example of a Sheffield plate coin and Riddell-371, with a 'European eagle.' 23.59g.Note to eBay: This coin is a contemporary counterfeit, and was made at the time such coins were in circulation. Contemporary counterfeits were heavily used in commerce as legitimate money, as is evidenced by wear.
