circa 1835-50 Pressed Clear Lacy Flint Glass 7 1/2 inch Bowl. Beautiful example with a bold well defined pattern. Unknown maker but attributed to a Midwestern glass house. Piece is in very nice condition for a lacy bowl of this time period. There are no cracks or major damages. I did note 1 scallop is almost completely missing along the rim. I also noted some smaller flat nicks and rough spots to the top, side and back edge of the rim. Expected lite surface scratches and wear from age and use. Please view all photos. Base has honest wear consistent with a piece of this age. Glass has the standard swirl/ straw lines, annealing lines, pot stones and air bubbles consistent with glass of this age. Measures 7 1/2 in. wide and stands appr. 2 in. tall. Glass has a nice flint/ lead quality resonance when tapped with a finger nail. Properly glows a yellow-green when placed under a black light.
