This auction is for a vintage set of 1847 Rogers Bros. silverplated flatware in the First Love pattern. This is the 52 pc. set with a few extra serving pieces. T are 8 dinner forks, 8 salad forks, 16 teaspoons, 8 dinner knives, 8 tablespoons, 2 serving spoons, gravy ladle, 2 (chipped beef?) forks, 1 butter knife and 1 sugar spoon - for a total of 55 pieces. This set comes complete with the original chest which has the 1847 sticker inside as well as the original paperwork, including the bill of sale from The Globe Store in Scranton PA. T are no monograms on this set. The condition of the set is very good with only one of the chipped beef forks showing a little wear. For payment I prefer postal money orders, but also accept personal and cashiers checks. Shipment will be delayed for 7-10 business days when payment is made with a check. Please use ebay's postal calculator to estimate your shipping charges. Items will be shipped via USPS priority. Payment must be received within 10 days of the end of that auction.
