1865-S VF+ Seated Liberty Half Dollar MY COMMENTS: THE GOOD NEWS: Nice Looking Better Date Coin, Nice Color & Eye Appeal, Bold Rims, Typical LIBERTY for the grade. Liberty wears funny for these coins because it's raised up so high. Nice Head, Shield & Gown Details, Sharp Reverse Shield & Eagle Feather Details. No detracting rim dings or other marks. Many of these old coins have been cleaned so finding a nice looking coin like this is a nice find. Lower Mintage of 675,000. Please because I stand behind what I sell. THE BAD NEWS: Not real bad, but I'll say lightly cleaned long ago because the color is so light in the center of the coin. It has regained some color mostly around the rims.
