TAYLOR, TUNNICLIFFE & COCRACKER / BISCUIT JAR [c. 1875 - 1898] For your consideration…a Taylor, Tunnicliffe & Co. biscuit jar reminiscent of Royal Doulton’s series ware. Featured on the cracker jar are four vignettes including Stop Thief/Oliver Twist; Tilly Slowboy; Mr. Pickwick and Mr. Turveydrop and Peepy. Hallmark on the bottom in black is “[crown] ~ T T G”. Handwritten “11881“. Measurements: Height (with handle up) 8.75“; Width 5.25“ Condition: Cracker jar is in EXCELLENT condition with no chips or major cracks. For accuracy there is a small spider crack extending down about Tilly Slowboy. Overall crazing. Plating on lid is very worn. Shipping: USPS (domestic) and AIRMAIL (Canada/International).
