For your consideration is an antique Taylor, Tunnicliff & Co Blue Onion biscuit barrel jar. Taylor & Tunnicliff was commissioned to make specialty pottery pieces during 1868 to 1898 and this is one of those pieces. It is 5 3/8" tall without the lid and 5" in diameter. I believe that at one point it may have been silver in color. The lid is marked NS or nickel silver. It now shows copper and brass colors. This piece does have one of the handle holders broken off and the other has a split in it and the handle is missing. It does have some crazing as well, but this is a wonderful piece and such a highly sought after company for its history of specialty pieces. Please email with any questions.
