This is a vintage original cabinet photo showing what appears to be a post mortem view of the corpse of a hunter or trapper laid out on a bunk in a log cabin. Heavy clothing, a hat, and a folded blanket are seen near the bed. Evergreen branches are seen protruding from the bottom of the bed, likely used as a crude mattress. The floor appears to be dirt. The overall measurements are about 5 3/8" by 6 3/8", while the photo itself measures about 3 5/8" by 4 3/4". Very unique.
