Likeother pieces which I have online right now and there are more coming up this is from a collectors estate here in Prescott. I can not mention his name but the insiders know which famous collector lived in Prescott and passed recently . This tibetain traveling Altar is just gorgeous . It is from the 18 th youngest 19 th century. There are several repairs and repaint which might be later. As you can see it folds up easily and the front part comes out easily too, the side parts gave leeway over the long term use, an easy fix but I did not want to change anything . the only thing I did is adding some linseed oil so the wood would not crack as this happens very easily here in dry Arizona . it also took away this terrible smell of rancid butter . the colours change with the light so I took fotos with and without flash. The front piece is depicting the wishfullfilling jewel created and presented by the lucky and properious dragons so it is definetly a promising piece . imagine your personal deity or Buddha on there !!! The tabletop is 27 x 11 inches and put up it measures 10 inches high. Folded up the height diminishes to two inches – which makes transport and shipping relatively easy.
