Here for sale is a neat 18th to early 19th century bed key. Used to tighten the ropes on early rope beds, it is made from a piece of wood with a shaped out bottom that has a dowel fitted through the top end. By turning this you could tighten the slack of your ropes on your rope beds. It measures 12 inches long by 11 3/4 inches across. It has a good dry surface and a super country look. Good condition, shows nice age.Buyer pays shipping.
